The testimony of some seniors of the tribe of Ait Hdiddou consists of two parts: Yaazza Ait and Ait Brahim, the money of the youth of the tribe is used to organise a collective celebration of marriage at the end of every summer. The festivities are grand when the harvest is successful. All visitors are welcome by neighboring tribes in Ait Hdiddou, reserving its home, lodging and hospitality. The holidays are led by the famous dance Ahidous executed by the Ait Hdiddou - only widows and divorced women are involved in the place they choose between men.
The Ait Hdiddou moussem is not a simple event. The social sense of the word Berber Imilchil, etymologically means "Imi n Lkil" in Berber and "Foum El Kail" in Arabic, or "the door of supply," known as the place that was once used as a moussem trading market for certain agricultural products and crafts between the two slopes of the Atlas. This moussem is also known among the Ait Hdiddou tribes and others under the name "Agdoud n'Oulmaghni," which means "the gathering Oulmaghni", referring to the holy marabout, Sidi Ahmed Oulmaghni, whose tomb rests on the place of pilgrimage. Some also call it "Souk Aarne" market year since it's only used to obtain supplies only once a year without ever having recourse to other souks.
